True Blood

I first heard about True Blood earlier this year from Belle. I watched an episode and was skeptical -- vampires shouldn't have fangs. It's currently on Cinemax again, and now I'm not sure if I'm that skeptical anymore... (though I still find the fangs disturbing).

The question is, should I buy the Sookie Stackhouse series?
