Survivor 36, Episode 7
"GOTTA RISK IT FOR THE BISCUIT"
The episode starts with Michael finding an idol: the half-burnt Micronesia "f-ing stick" that, apparently, after being incubated for 10 years, has gained some sort of power and transformed into a real idol. Lol seriously, somebody, make this stop.
Then we get to the reward challenge to see Malolo lose again, the other two tribes winning steak and chicken kebab, and Bradley barking orders at Donathan.
So instead of the usual rocks, Kellyn is picked by Naviti to go to the Ghost Island. And in a rare moment where Chelsea is allowed to speak, she fights her constant need to fall asleep and explains that they want to keep the island's mystery under wraps *rolling my eyes so hard right now*, thus the decision of sending the person who's already been there.
This time, Kellyn chooses to play at Ghost Island, winning her an advantage: an extra vote.
At Naviti, Bradley is snapping out orders again, wanting the lunch table to be set up, while telling us in confessional that the hardest test for him is "not to be a total dick". Well, we know now where this is all going. No surprise his snappy remarks and orders are rubbing his tribemates the wrong way. And Domenick, who I found super unlikeable in the first episode, is surprisingly starting to grow on me (file this for the last paragraph).
At Yanuya, Wendell finds an idol too -- Erik's immunity from Micronesia that he gave to Natalie -- a huge ass necklace that I have no idea how he's going to hide. Apparently, it's also Wendell's girlfriend's birthday that day, so they sing her happy birthday (and because Wendell is so going to make it at least to the loved ones' visit).
At Malolo, after scraping some questionable food that may or may not include hair or spines, Michael, Desiree and Angela burn the tribe's banner to un-jinx the tribe. And it works! Malolo does not lose the episode's immunity!
So Naviti's going to tribal, and the vote is going to be between Bradley and Libby.
Turns out, although Domenick did call Libby a devil in an angel's body, and Libby did blindside him several votes ago, they all would rather lose Bradley.
So there you have it -- Angela, Chelsea, Jenna, Sebastian and Chris make it to the merge, but Bradley does not.
Going into the merge next week, I'm dividing these 13 people into three groups:
People who can go far / can win / will be fan favourites:
Wendell, Domenick, Kellyn, Donathan, Michael
People who can go far and that's about it:
Laurel, Desiree, Libby
People who will not win, and probably won't go far anyway:
Angela, Chelsea, Jenna, Sebastian, Chris
