Made for Walking

It's a long day. I deserve a good cup of coffee and a song that won't burst my eardrums and a new dress.

There's a pair of dark purple peep-toe pumps in my shoe cabinet, and they have worked so hard with me today. I actually first saw them in a magazine, and when I went to the store, they didn't have my size anymore. I convinced myself that I could somehow squeeze into a half size smaller. Forget how crammed my feet were in them, the shoes were gorgeous.
